To the rear of a gorgeous Grade II listed Regency building, we created this hidden garden. Viewed from three levels (ant, human and bird!), the rich lush planting scheme an oasis of calm in the midst of a busy part of London. A cast-iron staircase winds down to a sunken stone path which leads to an inner circle, also clad in the same anthracite Brazilian slate. The circular wall also provides informal seating, with the added luxury of heating for chillier autumn nights.
